In the area of research, we also participated in a study with the University of British Columbia in 2021 in which our dark chocolate was given to diabetics (T1D and T2D) to determine if it had any effect on blood sugar levels.

We are happy to report that our dark chocolate flavors do not affect blood sugar levels to any noticeable degree. In addition, during 2021, we started supporting our cocoa farmers through Cocoa Horizons, an organization that works with Cocoa farmers in remote equatorial locations to ensure sustainable and profitable operations, so their farms and communities thrive.
