It all started with a real need... and a lot of pain 😖 In 2016, the life of our founder, Jeremiah Curvers, took an unexpected turn. A diagnosis of a double herniated disc forced him into immobility for three months.

Nailed to his bed, unable to move, he was faced with a physical and mental challenge. But sometimes, stopping is the starting point of a revolution 🧠 Being in bed nonstop day and night sucks 💩 But it's in those hard times that genius ideas come alive.

Jeremiah realized just how much sleep was misunderstood, underestimated, and even corrupted by the products supposed to support it. A question emerged that became an obsession: HOW CAN WE DEEPLY AND SUSTAINABLY IMPROVE PEOPLE'S SLEEP?

Still in bed (it still sucks), he set about creating solutions with a local factory in Montréal, Canada. Not a prototype or two, but 22, before perfecting our first product, the Polysleep Mattress. That’s how Polysleep was born 💜 What began as a personal mission (and obsession to perfection 😝) became a Canadian sleep movement in the next years, helping thousands of people rest better every night.
