Our Story HOW DID OPA! COME TO BE? Well, for us, it happened somewhere in between enjoying goodGreek food, building community, and sharing it with our neighbours. Opa: /oʊ. pə/ A Greek word used to express happiness that evokes the joy and celebration of feasting with family and friends.

Since we opened our first location over 25 years ago, everything we’ve done has been driven by the spirit of OPA! IT ALL STARTED WITH A SOUVLAKI SKEWER AND A DREAM 1998 OPA! opens its first location in Market Mall, Calgary, Alberta 2019 OPA!
